OJCR Construction was founded and opened by Vince Di Santo in 1989. His son, John, was just 19 years old, but immediately began working for the company. With just one crew of three employees, OJCR was completing site servicing projects at the time.
1992
OJCR Constructions team expanded to 3 different crews, and began completing mainline water projects as well as continuing with site servicing.
1994
The deep freeze winter allowed OJCR Construction to capitalize in the market of broken waterlines and repair services. With a variety of services, OJCR Construction established itself as a reputable, and efficient servicing contractor. The company then expanded to five crews.
1997
John decided to take a senior role at the company, which allowed him to be a bigger part of the company. He was running most field operations on his own.
2003
OJCR separated with their partner company, and continued to rapidly grow. By this time, John was taking most matters of the company into his own hands, with Vince always by his side helping with big picture decisions.
2007
OJCR Construction continued to grow, expanding into the market of Downtown Toronto and Old City of Toronto. The company continued to thrive with Vince and John working alongside eachother.
2013
The company started to work with affiliate companies, and providing services such as hydrovac and CCTV sewer line operations. The company then began operating up to twelve different crews.
2019
After Vince's passing in November of 2019, John stepped up and took full control of the company to honour Vince and carry on his legacy.
